I'm changing the somewhat dark tone of my previous posts to showcase one of my favorite things to do with textures, which is giving images a dirty, worn-out look.
To achieve this, I selected five photographs I took in London in May 2015.

I applied the same textures and blending modes to all the photos. The only thing I might have changed (very slightly) is the opacity of some of the layers in some particular cases. As a final touch, I added a wall texture that I really like and that gives the darker areas of the image a painting-like appearance when using the "Pin Light" blending mode.
