Study: Bricks And Rust

This will be a quick post since I have some family matters to attend to.
Until now, I hadn’t done any work where bricks were the main focus; I’d only used them as a background or a complementary texture. So, over the past few days, I decided to go all out and layer various brick textures on top of each other in the same composition.

At first, I used just brick textures combined with rust and wall textures, resulting in simple, cheerful, and vibrant colors.

Then, I added more metallic and rust textures, creating some surprisingly psychedelic walls, similar to the spiral I shared a few weeks ago.

While preparing to export the images, I stumbled upon some captivating results by chance, which I’ll save for future compositions.
