One Breathe From Awakening

Over the past few days, I've managed to start a few projects and finish the one I’m sharing now. While I still don’t have the time to fully dedicate to this blog and dive into the process behind each work, I don’t want to leave this space completely unattended. So, for now, I’ll keep posting my projects here along with a short description.

Lately, I’ve been experimenting more with the human figure, using stock photos for now and blending in textures I’ve worked with in other projects. I like to look mainly for exotic faces and exaggerated facial expressions to work with. In this case, I started with an image of a woman screaming—somewhere between fury and terror—and transformed it into a piece where her body begins to corrode and petrify, frozen in a primal scream just a split second before awakening.
